On December 19th, the 3rd SFLEP Intercultural Competence Competition for College Students in Yangtze River Delta Region and National Invitational Competition (Jiangsu Division) came to the end, and students from JSIT won the second prize.

Sonto (international student), Yu Yuxuan and Chen Ming, under the guidance of Yang Wusheng from the Art and Design College and Lu Xiaohua from the Basic Education Department, took part in the class B track of the junior college group under the title of "New Experience of DIY Huishan Clay Sculpture by Chinese and Lao Students". The team of teachers and students worked together and achieved excellent results.

The SFLEP Intercultural Competence Competition for College Students in Yangtze River Delta Region and the National Invitational Competition (Jiangsu Division) is guided by Jiangsu Higher Education Association, and co-sponsored by Jiangsu Foreign Language Teaching Research Association of Higher Education Institutions, Jiangsu Foreign Language Association, Jiangsu Translators Association and Shanghai Foreign Language Education Press. Organized by the School of Foreign Languages of Southeast University, the competition was recognized by Jiangsu Higher Education Association as a provincial competition for undergraduate and junior college students in 2020.
